Spam filters we know have blocked our communications

The most problematic filters are those which offer the user limited ability to review what is being blocked, or to alter it's behavior.
Comcast's filtering is typical of these and in our opinion should not be activated at all.
If spam blocking is activated one must check a separate box in order to have blocked messages stored for further review. The storage folder can then only be viewed if one logs in to an onlineWebmail service and cannot be accessed in a local email client like Outlook.
This is typical of the systems employed by many ISP's. Addresses using these features should not be relied upon for communications.

Better systems found in services like Hotmail allow the whitelisting of mail you want to receive. Still the set-up can be tricky for casual users and the whitelisting may need to be carried out individually for every company you want to receive mail from.
This can be a burdon for those who may need to receive only a couple of updates for a one-time order.

When we are made aware of an overly agressive filter that is actively blocking our mail, we will list it below.
This list is not updated in real time and changes in filtering behavior can occur very rapidly.

Comcast - claims to be "protecting" it's 10 million users from spam. Actually protecting itself from the high cost of handling the volume of mail their 10 million users would otherwise receive and store.
If you turn on Comcast's spam blocking feature don't count on receiving any of our communications.

Hotmail - has become very agressive in it's filtering. Losses of our communications have been very high since we began receiving returned mail from this service in August 2007. You must whitelist our customerservice@postersize-it.com address to insure delivery.

SBC - we have had mail returned by this ISP claiming "too many messages last 24 hrs". This behavior, completely outside of the recipient's control is never excusable. With the small volume of individual messages we send to their servers it is an outrage
If you do not receive a prompt reply from us, please use another service for your contact address.
Better still, get cable.
